Magnetic lashes offer a fuss-free alternative to traditional glue-on falsies. Whether you’re using magnetic eyeliner or sandwich-style lashes, follow these steps for a flawless, long-lasting finish.
Magnetic lashes (with magnetic eyeliner or dual magnetic strips)
Oil-free makeup remover (to prep lids)
Angled eyeliner brush (optional)
1. Prep Your Lids
Cleanse eyelids to remove oils or makeup residue. Dry thoroughly.
Tip: Avoid moisturizers or primers near the lash line—they weaken magnetic hold.
2. Apply Magnetic Eyeliner (for liner-based systems)
Shake the magnetic eyeliner well.
Draw a thin line along your upper lash line, as close to the roots as possible. Thicken the line slightly at the outer corner for extra grip.
Let it dry for 30–60 seconds until tacky.
3. Attach the Lashes
Hold the magnetic lash strip with tweezers or your fingers.
Align the strip with your lash line, starting at the center. Gently press the magnets onto the liner.
Secure the inner and outer corners last.
For Sandwich-Style Lashes (top + bottom magnetic strips):
Place the lower lash strip under your natural lashes.
Align the upper strip on top—magnets will snap together.
4. Adjust & Blend
Use a clean spoolie to blend natural and magnetic lashes.
Add mascara sparingly to avoid clumping.
Beginner hack: Cut lashes into smaller segments for easier placement.
Fix slippage: Press magnets gently with fingertips for 5 seconds.
Remove carefully: Peel from the outer corner inward to preserve shape.
Weak hold? Apply a second layer of magnetic liner.
Gaps? Fill with black eyeshadow or liquid liner.
Sensitive eyes? Opt for hypoallergenic magnetic liner brands.
